Air tool Storage Hack / Pneumatic Tool Organization Tip
Air tool Storage Hack / Pneumatic Tool Organization Tip
This is an air tool storage hack that I have used for a few years now. At first I was concerned that the pneumatic tools might get bumped and fall from their perch. But that hasn't been a problem. I showed this tip in my wire shelf installation video, but I thought that it could be a good stand alone tip for anyone looking for a storage and organization solution for their air tools.

Tool storage should provide three basic benefits: accessibility, organization, and compression (saving space). These three are present to varying degrees in any storage sol...

Did you die?
Not dead.
... thank you man, I'm starting diy and I had difficult time understanding the tape measurement 😊
You are welcome 😊
I know how to cut the tip off the nozzle. However, the piercing rod on the caulking gun isn’t long enough to pierce the plastic end of the tube with the nozzle is in. NO ONE seems to want to show how to deal with getting the plastic bit off the top of the tube.
I cover it here: 3:06
The thing that no one shows, possibly because it is thought too obvious, is that you also need to cut off the tip of the tube above the screw thread.
Built one today. Added a French cleat to it. Working great.
Fantastic!
Thanks.. this was perfect to teach my kids... and myself. :)
You're very welcome!
I would love to make these but the link for the image pdf is not loading for me for some reason
I don't know what to say. Did you try looking in your downloads folder?
I copy and pasted the link into Chrome and it worked, it must have been the other browser I was using did not like download links for what ever reason 😂
@@dude7189 Nice, I'm glad you could get the file.
Very helpful video & thank you
Glad it was helpful!

Amazing lamp. I have a question. When it is time to change the bulb, what do you do?
I just pull the shade out and replace the bulb just like I did in the video. Btw, the original bulb is still working and it has been 7 years.
@@Makebuildmodify thank you for the reply. Amazing lamp.
Tht is mental. 👍
lol, thanks.

AWESOME
Thanks 🤗
This helped a lot. Laying the foundation of why the lines are even there in the first place helped me to understand. I had to rewind back when u broke it down into quarters but after some thought, I got it. Can’t thank you enough.
Happy to help. Thank you for taking the time to comment.
This is what first principle thinking looks like
Good eye! You're the first to comment on the first principles approach. Few understand the profound impact of starting from the very foundation and methodically constructing each subsequent step.
This is the best video to refresh your memory
Thanks!
Dude this is the best video of explaining a tape measure lol
Glad you think so!
I got a 1994 rca flatscreen my optical mirror was made of foil I think ?

Good luck!

No kidding
This is a brilliant explanation, thank you
You're very welcome!
Holy shit dude what an amazing, thorough, well explained video. I know how to read them but I’m always slow and usually have to sit there and think about it for a bit, this cleared up a ton for me. Props to you man, great video!!!
Thank you!
This is very helpful. I get so confused after 1/4" mark. When I took sewing classes I had so much problems getting this right.
Happy to help.
Wow! Thank you so much!! Amazing video ❤
You're so welcome!
Thank you!
You bet.
I didn’t read the title well and thought it said how to make it work, and then realized it says “with adapter” but I still think it’s kinda redundant and dumb to offer a hack that isn’t a hack, it’s just a purchase of another tool. I thought diy was not purchasing more stuff
It can be done with the lower part of a flashlight that receives the new batteries. If you look near the beginning of the video, you can see that I cut off the lower part of the flashlight. You can also see in the same shot that I use this part on one of the adapters. So, it can be done without a purchase of another tool if you already have the newer flashlight. But, it's been a while since I made this video, and now there are aftermarket adapters and 3D printed versions.
I looked everywhere for simple plans to hang duct or ribbon. Perfect!
Happy to help.
Best shelf ever!
Thanks!
I hope this video helped
Me too.
I know this sounds crazy, but as a 25 year old cosplayer, I'd never thought I'd need this tutorial, but I did. You explained and showed everything so clearly, including how to run it. Thank you so much for showing others how to do this. ❤
Glad I could help!

Thank you so much you provided a great explanation
Glad it was helpful!
Imperial has to be the stupidest and most hard way to get a precise measurement like bruh, cant we void 1/2's and 1/4's and so on and just replace with 16ths. None of this needless conversion and extra time wasted messing up measurements and dividing. Better yet lets change to a system that is divisable by 10s.
*divisible
tank you

Excellent all around - have been making some of your projects without a table saw - just using a hand-held circular saw. Not as fancy - but gets the job done. How come you stopped making videos? Or do you have another channel anywhere? Either way - thank you!
It's great to hear that somebody is making my project! I'm considering starting back up again. I had to go back to my day job. I'll probably have to take sponsors to continue though.
@@Makebuildmodify Do you get decent monetization with YT? Either way - I think your presentation style is perfect. Way above most others. No hand-holding. Too many other channels are over-explainers, etc. Don't you think that if you pick up again - your subscriber base will grow rapidly? I think others are also yearning for more straightforward makers like you. You might be surprised?
@@NJroute22 Thank you for the encouragement, I really appreciate it. The YT monetization typically does not cover the production costs of a video. Over time, some videos will pay well enough to limp the channel along, but if I want to do it full time (my dream), I'd have to take on sponsors. It used to be more commonly viewed as a taboo (sellout) type of thing. Times have changed, and I'm reconsidering my position on in-video adverts.
@@Makebuildmodify Very interesting. Do you pay someone to make your videos? I have a channel (not monetized) - and my production costs are zero (other than the few hours it takes to make). Are you basing your costs on time/value? In other words - you make more working a "in real life" job over doing virtual things? I do have to say one more thing though - when I am building things at home - it kind of sucks to "do it for the camera" rather than just building it for myself. It'd be nice to have a film crew film for me while I concentrated on my project.
@@NJroute22I do it all myself. My bigger projects can consume 40-60 hours plus the cost of materials. I lose a week or more of income from my day job. So, the real lifestyle cost is pretty substantial considering that I was trying to produce one project video per week. Moving forward, I'll have to do maybe one project per month and more talking head videos to fill in the month-reviews, tips and tricks, and things like that. Maybe even a "Maker Week in Review" where I cover other makers' projects.
Thanks! Instead of just getting mad and yelling things at me like my dad, you actually taught me how to properly read a tape measure/ruler. Thank you for this.
Lol! You're welcome.
